Sphere Ei

Description of what the Sphere Ei is.

Sphere Ei is essentially the same thing but ran on Ubuntu instead.

Steps to set up the Sphere Ei:

First head to the Kiosk Guide in the YPCloud Gitbook or just use this as follows:

  1. Download the ISO file at https://ubuntu.com/download/server

  2. Use Rufus to convert the ISO file to a bootable USB file at https://rufus.ie/

  3. Follow the steps on the screen to set up the Ubuntu

  4. Download the GUI for the server using sudo apt-get install ubuntu-gnome-desktop

  5. Everything else is the same, but must set up a bash file in the autostart in .config folder

  6. Make sure you disable the motebus service by sudo systemctl disable snap.sphere.motebus.service

  7. Make the startup bash file as follows:
